Welcoming New Board Leadership
As we look ahead to the 2026–27 school year, we are grateful for the dedicated leaders who continue to invest their time, talents, and expertise in support of St. Luke’s Episcopal School.
Please join us in welcoming Matt Koehler ’97 and Davis Staedtler to the Board of Trustees. A St. Luke’s alumnus, Matt has faithfully served on the School’s Finance Committee and brings extensive leadership experience in the energy industry. Davis, who will serve as Church-School Liaison, is an active member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, serving on the Vestry and as chair of the Renewal Works Committee, and brings a professional background in talent and organizational development.
We are also pleased to welcome Daryl Lansdale, proud St. Luke’s alumni parent of Kelsey ’11 and Trey ’13, and Justin Yarborough to the Permanent Endowment Fund Board. Their experience in business, investment, and strategic leadership will help steward the long-term strength and mission of St. Luke’s.
In addition, we are honored to recognize Steve McAllister and Jill Vassar as Trustees Emeriti. Steve, former Board Chair (1997–98), former Vestry Member and Junior Warden, and alumni parent to Samuel, Annie ’04, and Sallie ’05, has been a steadfast supporter of St. Luke’s for decades. Jill, former Board Chair (2009–11) and alumni parent to Margaret ’11 and Caroline ’15, has provided invaluable leadership and remains a devoted champion of our school community.
We are deeply grateful for the commitment of these leaders and look forward to the year ahead as they help steward the mission and future of St. Luke’s Episcopal School.

Be sure to review the updated Uniform Guide. While most uniform requirements remain the same, there are a few important changes to note:

Tiger Athletics Sports Interest Form
As we begin planning for the upcoming athletic seasons, we ask that all parents complete the Tiger Athletics Sports Interest Form if you have not already done so. The information collected helps us determine participation numbers, plan teams, secure coaches, and prepare for a successful year of athletics.
Even if your child is still undecided about participating, we encourage you to complete the form so we can better anticipate interest levels across our programs.
