Dear Beneke Families,
Thank you to all of our families who joined us for our Hispanic Heritage Program! It was a wonderful celebration of culture, traditions, and the rich diversity that makes our Beneke community so special. We are incredibly proud of our Bears for their performances and grateful to our teachers, staff, and families who helped make this event a success. Your continued support means so much to us!
As we head into Fall Break, we wish all of our Bears and their families a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable week filled with family time, laughter, and wonderful memories. Our students and staff have worked incredibly hard, and everyone deserves this time to rest and recharge!
We look forward to welcoming all of our Bears back on Monday, October 19! Let's return refreshed, ready to learn, and excited to continue working toward our goals!

¡Muchas gracias a todas las familias que nos acompañaron en nuestro Programa de Celebración de la Herencia Hispana! Fue una hermosa celebración de la cultura, las tradiciones y la gran diversidad que hace que nuestra comunidad de Beneke sea tan especial. Estamos muy orgullosos de nuestros Ositos por sus presentaciones y agradecidos con nuestros maestros, personal escolar y familias que ayudaron a que este evento fuera todo un éxito. ¡Su apoyo continuo significa mucho para nosotros!
Al comenzar nuestras vacaciones de otoño, les deseamos a todos nuestros Ositos y sus familias una semana segura, relajante y llena de momentos especiales, risas y hermosos recuerdos en familia. Nuestros estudiantes y personal han trabajado muy duro, ¡y todos merecen este tiempo para descansar y recargar energías!
¡Esperamos recibir nuevamente a todos nuestros Ositos el lunes 19 de octubre! Regresemos descansados, listos para aprender y emocionados por continuar trabajando para alcanzar nuestras metas.

PTO NEWS: JOIN & SUPPORT OUR BENEKE PTO!
We need our Beneke Bear families to help make our PTO stronger than ever! Please check your child’s folder for the PTO membership flyer that was sent home and join us for the 2026–27 school year.
Membership is only $5, and every membership helps support our students, staff, school events, celebrations, and special activities throughout the year. You do not have to attend every meeting or volunteer to become a member—simply joining is a great way to show your support for Beneke!

Car Rider Information
Car Rider Number Required
Beginning on the first day of school, families must have a car rider number and the official car rider tag/document provided by the campus in order to pick up their child through the car rider line.
If you need a car rider number or campus car rider tag, please stop by the front office for support.

A partir del primer día de clases, las familias deberán tener un número de car rider y la etiqueta/documento oficial de car rider proporcionado por la escuela para poder recoger a su hijo(a) a través de la fila de car riders.

Important Information
Arrival and Dismissal
School Hours 7:35 AM-3:25 PM

All car riders have a car rider number, and parents must have the placard issued by the campus to pick students up from the car rider line.
You may not use a picture of the placard to pick up your student.
If you arrive after 3:45 PM to pick up your student up from the front office with the car rider tag, show your ID, and sign the late dismissal form.
Please be courteous and follow the procedures when using the car rider line.
The traffic pattern is designed for cars to take turns, turning into the parking lot from Briarchase Dr. Please do not form a third line down the center of the road to turn into the car rider line.
Walker A Parents, please do not block the entrance to the neighborhood. In the event of an emergency, an emergency vehicle needs access to the residents' homes. Therefore, you may not park on both sides of the entrance or the main road leading to the neighborhood.
Walker B Parents, please do not park on the side of Briarchase Drive disrupting the car rider line. If your child is a walker you may not call them over to a car where you are parked or driving. You need to exit your vehicle and walk to meet your student.

Early Check-Out Reminder
As stated in the Beneke Elementary Handbook, the latest time to check your student out for the day is 2:45 p.m. After this time, we will not release students, as our staff is focused on preparing for dismissal.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and efficient dismissal process.
Según lo establecido en el Manual de Beneke Elementary, la hora límite para recoger a su hijo(a) es a las 2:45 p.m. Después de esta hora, no entregaremos a los estudiantes, ya que nuestro personal estará enfocado en prepararse para la salida.
