Madison Elementary School Update
Happy New Year!!!

π« WEEK 5 - September 21 - September 25
Dear Families,
Happy Week 5! Following our first full five-day week, our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders are settling well into the regular school routine. Now that we have completed all of our beginning-of-the-year assessments, we are identifying students' specific individual needs. Our classrooms are focused, academic momentum is building, and students are adjusting smoothly to the daily expectations.
As we move through the rest of September, here are a few practical focus areas for the week:
Maintain Evening Routines: With full academic weeks in full effect, predictable evening routines and consistent sleep schedules remain essential for helping students stay focused through Friday. Have your child prep the night before (lay out clothes, pack backpack, read and sign planners, etc.).
Prompt Specific Reflection: When asking about their day, try targeted questionsβlike "What book are you reading?" or "What was your math focus today?"βto get a clearer picture of what's going on at school.
Stay Connected: Please check class updates regularly and reach out whenever you have questions or updates regarding your child's progress.
Thank you for your continued support as we keep this momentum going. Have a great week!
