Shout-Outs
Thank you so much of your support of my family during this time. We are so appreciative to have a family outside of our own that cares for us the way that you do. I could never tell you thank you enough for all of the support you have provided through your prayers, gifts and other acts of kindness. My family is all the more blessed because of you.
Thank you to all staff who attended our School Report Card session at Lula's Coffee and Co. as we gathered great information regarding our upcoming school report card and how we can support in reaching EXCELLENT!
Let's give a huge shout-out to our staff for the flexibility displayed in preparation for inclement weather. Thank you for being prepared and ready to accept students on Monday after our 2 Hour Delay.

All other duties are outlined in our Roles and Responsibilities document shared at the beginning of the school year. A similar chart will be shared in our parent newsletter for parents.
- Please be sure to check out the WGES 2025-2026 Calendar of events link at the bottom of the newsletter to see upcoming planned events. Dates can be changed through requests from grade levels, committees, etc... however, the link is there to ensure that all staff are advised about upcoming events for the year.
- Please be reminded that students will have indoor recess on days in which the temperature or wind chill is below 40 degrees. Please ensure that students have proper outerwear prior to going outside.
- Please see our WGES intervention guidelines below.
- Please ensure that you show the Morning News Show daily in your classrooms.
- We would like to welcome the following student teachers to our campus (please see their profiles below). Please be sure to give them a warm hello when you see them in the hallways.
- Our SEL Launch and Learn program is off to a great start. The Launch and Learn program at WGE is an SEL based program that will serve students with high levels of referrals in our Educator's Handbook system. The program will provide them with an on staff mentor and weekly lessons on self-control, relationships, and more. Our wonderful related arts team and specific identified support staff participated in training and have received materials in order to support the students identified.
