Building Strong Reading Habits at Home
Dear Families,
Reading every night is one of the most important ways families can support learning at home. For our students with disabilities, consistent reading practice strengthens decoding, comprehension, and confidence. Please help your child complete their nightly reading homework by setting a regular time and place for reading—strong routines build lasting habits!
If your child benefits from hearing the text read aloud, try using SORA to follow along with the digital version or search the book title on YouTube to listen while reading. Together, we can keep expectations high and help every student grow as a reader.
