As the holiday season surrounds us with joy and cheer, we want to take a moment to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas! May your days be filled with laughter, love, and the warmth of family and friends.

We are truly grateful for your continued support and partnership throughout the year. Your trust and engagement make our community stronger and help us create meaningful experiences for your children every day.

As we look ahead to 2026, we are excited about all the opportunities and successes the new year will bring. Together, we look forward to a year filled with growth, learning, and memorable moments.

We are excited to announce that Mitchell Elementary will be hosting a small but fun Pop-Up Santa Shop! All items will be $2 each.

The Santa Shop has items for the whole family, giving students a chance to have fun shopping for their loved ones.

Students will have the opportunity to preview the shop and its items on Monday, December 8th. The shop will be open for purchasing December 9th–12th from 12:00–2:30 PM.

Because this is our very first Santa Shop, we have ordered a limited quantity of each item. Once items are sold out, the shop will close.

If a student must miss school, here are the following guidelines:

• A written excuse, signed by a parent or guardian, must be presented to the student's teacher on the day they return after an absence.

• For absences due to extended illnesses or students who have missed more than ten days of school, a statement from a healthcare practitioner may be required.
