Reading Horizons Rostering
On Thursday, MSCS IT made an adjustment to how we are rostering students that did provide initial impact to intervention providers where they may have had limited or no access temporarily. If you do not see the Reading Horizons Discovery or Elevate icons and previously had access, you can email SCS Clever Admins and make the request. There is no loss of student data and students with active ILPDs as of March 5, 2026 are fully rostered. Questions can be sent to RTI2@scsk12.org.
Making Learning Visible and Accessible
Running out of wall space for your Reading Accelerate posters along with other instructional reference tools? Or maybe they’re tucked away in a spot you and students can’t easily reference during instruction. Many interventionists are working with limited space which presents the barrier to displaying the posters as a resource.
Don’t let those powerful tools go unused. Here are some creative, space‑saving ways to put your Reading Accelerate posters back to work right when your students need them most. Remember posters should only be displayed if you are teaching or have taught the skill. If you have not covered that skill, the poster should not be displayed.
To find the printable posters you will follow these steps on RH Accelerate-Resource-Printable Resources-Posters.
Print a few copies (color and landscape format work best) and put them to work in ways that directly support instruction by making learning visual and easily accessible.
1. Create easy‑access teaching tools. Slip the posters into sheet protectors so students can keep them in their binders or keep a set at your fingertips during lessons. This makes the strategies instantly available the moment you need them.
2. Turn posters into daily “desk mats.” Place key posters on students’ desks so the information is always in front of them. With constant visibility, students naturally reference the strategies and build stronger habits over time.
