The O'Dell Press
O'Dell Families,
I hope you all enjoyed a much needed Fall Break! It's HOMECOMING WEEK and we are so excited. A HUGE thank you to everyone who decorated our building! It looks amazing and we are ready to celebrate our bobcats!
The playground improvements were completed over the break. Please make sure you are not allowing your child to come to the playground without adult supervision after hours. We ask that children do not ride bikes or scooters on our new turf. I would encourage our neighborhood children to use the playgrounds in the community after school hours.
There is still time to sign up for our Trunk or Treat during the Family Wellness and Community Fair on Tuesday, October 27th from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Please fill out the volunteer form HERE.
The GT referral window is open through Friday, October 16th. I have added important information below.
Get Ready for O’Dell’s Color Run! Our one and only fundraiser of the year is coming Friday, November 13th, during Specials! Donations begin October 19! Check out the information below to learn how to register and donate. Students who receive $25 or more in donations will earn a Color Run T-shirt to wear during the event!
For those of you picking up your students early on Thursday, October 15th for Homecoming - please complete the form HERE - one form per student. We hope that pre-planning will help alleviate the lines in the front office. We ask that early pickups are done at 2:00 p.m. or earlier. Students not picked up by 2:00 p.m. will be released following regular dismissal. As a reminder, this is not an early release day - Alphabest, buses, daycare buses will all run at 3:05 p.m. however early pickups will help everyone get to the parade in a timely manner.
Don't forget to wear your jerseys tomorrow, western wear on Thursday, and BOBCAT orange and mums on Friday!
Happy Homecoming Week - GO BOBCATS!
