Message from Mr. Clark
I'd like to extend a warm welcome to the families of our incoming 6th-grade students, as well as to all families who are new to Fuquay-Varina Middle School. We are excited to have you join the Bengal Family and look forward to partnering with you as we support your child's growth and success over the coming years.
At FVMS, we are committed to ensuring that every student is Celebrated, Challenged, and Connected. This year, our theme is Elevate, which reflects our commitment to lifting one another higher each day. We will challenge our students to elevate their learning, character, leadership, and perseverance while encouraging our staff and families to work together to create an environment where everyone can thrive. Our goal is to prepare students not only for success in high school but also to become confident, compassionate, and capable leaders in whatever path they choose.
We are excited for all that the 2026–2027 school year has in store. Together, let's Elevate expectations, opportunities, and achievements as we make this our best year yet. Welcome to the Bengal Family & Go Bengals!
All FVMS students are required to purchase an agenda for the 2026-27 school year. Agendas are $5 and can be purchased on the School Cash Online website.
Agendas will be distributed the 2nd week of school in your child's homeroom class.
- 7th and 8th grade students wishing to participate on an athletic team in the fall must set up/update their account in Dragonfly. You will upload your child's physical form, acknowledge parent/student contracts, and etc. on this site. Please follow this LINK for instructions on how to set up your account. Please email Athletic Director Bellucco at tbellucco@wcpss.net if you have any questions.
- There will be another Fall Sports interest meeting the first week of school. 6th graders interested in being a manager will also be invited. We will send out additional information with the specific dates and times later this summer.
- If your child is interested in optional preseason workouts with their specific team, please make sure they are checking their respective Canvas page for messages, updates, and sign-up instructions from their coaches. Students MUST be eligible and have Dragonfly submitted and approved before participating in workouts. You may email the coach of the team or Coach Bellucco, tbellucco@wcpss.net with questions.
- If you are interested in being involved in the FVMS Athletics Booster Club, please email Coach Bellucco as well with the subject "FVMS Athletics Booster Interest."
As we begin our second year using Infinite Campus, we encourage all families to regularly use the Infinite Campus Parent Portal to stay informed about your child's academic progress. The Parent Portal is the primary place to view your child's grades, attendance, schedules, assignments, and other important student information throughout the school year.
If you have not yet created your Parent Portal account, Infinite Campus will continue to send automated invitation emails to eligible parents. These emails are sent to parents who meet the following criteria:
- Are listed as a Guardian in Infinite Campus
- Have the Portal box checked on their Relationship page
- Do not yet have an active Infinite Campus Parent Portal account
Invitation emails are sent weekly until your Parent Portal account has been created.
We encourage all parents and guardians to activate their accounts and check the Parent Portal regularly. Staying connected through Infinite Campus is one of the best ways to monitor your child's academic progress, attendance, and overall success throughout the school year.
