A Message from Dr. Cassidy

Hello Red Devil Family,

We have some exciting news to celebrate! Our school has been recognized by the State Department of Education as a Palmetto Silver Award recipient. This honor reflects the hard work our students and staff put in every single day, as well as the support we receive from our families. We are so proud of this accomplishment because it truly represents a team effort and a shared commitment to helping every student grow and succeed.

As we celebrate, we’re also heading into a very important part of the school year. These next few weeks matter—a lot. There is still so much learning happening in classrooms each day, and every moment counts as we prepare for end-of-year assessments and wrap up the year strong. One of the biggest ways to support your child right now is by making sure they are at school, on time, every day. Consistent attendance makes a real difference, and together we can help every student finish the year feeling confident and successful.

We will continue encouraging every student to imagine the possibilities before them, believe in their potential, and work each day toward achieving greatness.

Spring sports offered for LMS athletes include: Baseball, Boys Golf, Boys and Girls Soccer, Softball, and Track and Field. All of these sports are beginning their preseason work and would be glad to add anyone interested in playing. Please contact Coach Ulmer for more information
