Afternoon Parents/Guardians,
Another great week here at Great Brook!
We really want to take a second and encourage all our students in how serious and hard working they were throughout the NWEA ELA assessment on Wednesday. It was very obvious to the entire staff that they were truly trying to bring their "A" game to this important assessment.
To that end, we are not yet done! Tuesday will be the NWEA Math assessment and it is important for them to continue their efforts. These results help us to understand how to best place our students in our WIN (What I Need) Block as well as for their math experience. Please continue to encourage them to bring their best efforts!
Below you will find a document that is labeled for your review regarding ALICE, which is the district endorsed emergency response to an intruder. While we know that these drills may be stressful for our students, we also know that, like a fire drill, it is important to consider what we do and practice it. Please take a few minutes to read the letter below.
