ππ Celebrating Our Seniors & Their Bright Futures! ππ
Our Hillsboro High School seniors were celebrated at the VU Scholarship Pep Rally, and we have some BIG reasons to be proud! π¦ π
Through VU, students can connect with thousands of dollars in scholarship opportunities based on their academic performance. This year, our HHS seniors qualified for an incredible $236,101,697 in potential scholarship money! π€―π What an amazing reminder of the hard work, dedication, and academic achievement of our students!
The celebration was even more special as we recognized Hispanic Heritage Month! π²π½β¨ Mr. Rangelβs Spanish Dance Club treated us to a wonderful performance, and our HHS Culinary students added a little sweetness to the day by providing delicious treats for our seniors. ππ°
A HUGE thank-you to everyone who helped make this celebration memorable. We are so proud of our seniors and all the possibilities ahead of them. Their futures are bright, and we canβt wait to see them soar! π¦ π

πͺπ Our Knife Skills Are on POINT! π¨βπ³π©βπ³
We donβt want to brag, but Ms. Ballentineβs Culinary students have been cutting it up in class! π
Students recently learned how to fabricate chickens, developing valuable culinary skills and practicing proper knife techniques along the way. From precision cuts to hands-on learning, these future chefs are sharpening their skills one lesson at a time! πβ¨
π Disclaimer: No raw chicken was consumed during this valuable learning activity. π
Weβre proud of our Eagles for rolling up their sleeves, learning new techniques, and preparing for success in and out of the kitchen! π¦ β€οΈπ
