Ms. Canady’s Weekly Message
Dear Evergreen Families,
We are proud to share that our students have successfully completed state testing! Our students showed outstanding effort, perseverance, and determination in doing their very best each day. We are incredibly proud of the focus and growth they demonstrated throughout the testing season. Thank you to our families for supporting students with attendance, encouragement, and routines that helped them be prepared each day.
Next week will be a four-day school week followed by a four-day weekend in celebration of Memorial Day. As we approach the end of the school year, it is important that we continue to finish strong with daily attendance and reading every day. These habits build the foundation for success well beyond elementary school and help students continue growing academically through the final weeks of school.
Please be sure to check the end of this newsletter where all upcoming events through the end of the school year are listed to help families keep track of our many activities and celebrations. It is a busy and exciting time of year at Evergreen!

Schoolwide Goals for the Year
The percentage of students who are at grade level in reading and writing will increase by at least 7% by May 2026.
The percentage of students who are absent less than 18 days for the school year will increase by at least 5% for the school year. Every day counts!
