“Mackenzie Mayfield is a dedicated and exceptional educator. She consistently goes above and beyond, often being the first to volunteer when support is needed. Mackenzie fosters a welcoming and inclusive environment where every student—whether or not they are part of her reading groups—feels valued and connected, as if they are “her student.” Beyond her instructional role as our building’s Reading Specialist, Mackenzie also serves as the coordinator of the Honor Patrol and leads the organization of our school's social committee.
