This and That at Red Mill

January was an exciting and snowy month! Students and staff returned from the winter break feeling refreshed and ready to take on 2025! Students worked very hard to complete their middle of the year assessments and showed perseverance throughout all of these tasks. Staff participated in a professional development day to share their ideas with other teachers in the district. Our PTO Apex Fundraiser kicked off with an energizing assembly as well!

🔷 Mini-Thon 🔷

This month we are raising money for The Four Diamonds Fund! The Four Diamonds mission is to conquer childhood cancer by assisting children and their families through superior care, comprehensive support and innovative research. Our funds will help support the families at Penn State Children's Hospital impacted by pediatric cancer.

To help our fundraising efforts and to help raise awareness in the community, students are encouraged to find SPONSORS to donate money. Our goal is to raise at least $5,000 as a school ($1,000 per grade)! At our kick-off assembly on Friday, February 7th, your child will be receiving an envelope for donations and instructions on how to use the online Donor Drive website, information about the Whoopie Pie sales, Teacher Challenges, purchasing Thon merchandise, and more!
