Happy Friday Slater Nation!

We are very proud of all our Fall athletic team's accomplishments this season! Please come support our Field Hockey's first round of playoffs TODAY at 1 pm, and our Girl's Soccer's second round of playoffs TODAY at 3 pm. There should be an amazing crowd - our whole high school student body will be coming out to cheer on our teams! Please also join on Football's first round of playoffs TODAY at 7 pm. Our Boy's Soccer's second round of playoffs will be an away game on Saturday (3 pm at Randolph).

We will be selling Slater hats at our home games. All proceeds will go to the Thomas E. La Placa Fund designed to support students in financial need. Please refer to the flyer below for more details.

Our prospective future Stafford students are getting excited for this years STC visits. STC will be coming to FHUMHS to present to the Sophomore class on November 8th. On November 28th, our Sophomores will be going to STC to explore their programming in-person. If you have questions about Stafford, please contact your child(ren)'s counselor.

Everyone should be receiving emails inviting you to sign up for the November 8th or 9th Parent-Teacher Conferences. We hope you take advantage of this opportunity to come meet and discuss your child(ren)'s progress. Please feel free to email teachers if you need to set up your meeting time to be virtual rather than in-person.

Our next Belonging Potluck (formerly Slater Strong) will be held on Wednesday, November 15th. Our Belonging Potlucks will share the same spirit as the students' Belonging Club: building a school where everyone feels they belong. Please refer to the invitation below.

Lastly, we will be checking grades on November 3rd for extra-curricular eligibility and Senior privileges. We will also be printing progress reports and mailing these to you shortly after the November 3rd date.

We are grateful for our Slater Community and appreciate being able to pull people together in times of need!

FHUMHS will hold evening conferences on November 8th, and afternoon conferences on November 9th. Sign-up information has been shared via parent/guardian email. While we love in-person conferences, we are happy to accommodate virtual meetings as well!

We will be holding ASVAB testing on November 14th for students who have signed up. the testing will occur during the school day.

Join our high school counseling team at 5:30 pm in the Cafeteria to discuss important financial aid information for post-secondary school.
