A Look Into Volleyball

We decided to get an inside look into volleyball and asked one of the players a few questions.

How are you liking this season?

I like this season, it’s a very great time because all my teammates are really supportive and make everything fun.

What is your favorite thing about volleyball?

The fun drills that we do in practice.

When did you start playing and what made you start?

I started in elementary school because my friends inspired me to go.

What is something you find challenging about this sport?

Every time you make a mistake the other team gets a point. That puts me under pressure.

What do you think about the team?

I think they are all very good people and they are committed to getting better.

Do you like the games or the training better?

Games because it's more like a rush and you put everything together that you worked on during practice.

Each month we will have an activity where the elementary students will be paired up with the 7-12th grade students for various events/activities. Students will be taking part in various outdoor games and activities. We experienced our first BattlersConnect a few weeks ago, and it seemed to be a great success, with students & staff enjoying the experience. Take a look!
