It's Almost Here!

Greetings!

Welcome to Nova! We are so excited to see you in just a couple of short weeks!

Please see below for more information about kindergarten at Nova, including our Kindergarten Picnic on Tuesday, August 20.

Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

Kindergarten "Meet The Teacher" Event!

Date: Tuesday, August 20

Time: 5pm-7pm (families will be split into 2 groups: 5pm and 6pm, based on alphabet in each class)

Place: Nova's outdoor spaces

In order to make this event special for your kindergarten scholar, we kindly request that you limit attendance to your kindergarten scholar and their parents/guardians.

Students will find out who their teacher will be for the 24-25 school year on Thursday, August 15. Teachers will email families with further details about themselves and will let you know your time slot for the Meet the Teacher event.

We hope to see you there!

**If it rains during this event, the picnic and playground portions will be canceled, but you can still attend to meet your teacher during your scheduled time.**

**Please note that Kindergarten teachers will NOT be at the Lower School Open House on Thursday, August 22. If you are unable to attend the Kindergarten Picnic, you can meet your teacher at your scheduled kindergarten conference!**

Kindergarten Conferences

Kindergarten Conferences will still take place as scheduled on Monday, August 26 and Tuesday, August 27. These conferences will be in-person.

You and your child will have a 20-minute conference with their child's teacher to learn more about kindergarten, tour the classroom, and your child will take a couple of short assessments.

For these conferences, students should dress in their school uniform.

Be on the lookout for more information about Kindergarten Conferences after the Meet the Teacher event! Teachers will be sending more details as well as a Sign-Up Genius to sign up for a time for your conference.
