GMS Families,

As our fall athletics season comes to a close, I want to recognize our student-athletes for their hard work and commitment throughout the season. I also want to thank our coaches for the time, leadership, and support they have provided to our students.

Our students have also had several opportunities to learn outside the classroom this fall, including trips to Mill Creek, W-Mountain, Cold Harbour, and the Pioneer Museum. Thank you to our teachers and staff for the planning and preparation that went into these experiences. Our students represented GMS well on each trip, and we appreciate the responsibility and respect they demonstrated.

Thank you as well to our families for your support during the first weeks of the school year. We value your partnership and appreciate all you do to support our students and school.

Get Involved in the PTA

Fall sports at GMS come to a close this weekend with the Volleyball A League Tournaments

at GMS and Paonia. Cross country closes the competitive season tomorrow evening at the Salida Twilight Invitational Meet.

Great job by our athletes and coaches!

BOYS BASKETBALL practice begins on October 14 at 3:45. In order to participate, each athlete

needs a completed account on Arbiter.io (only once per year, so if your child did a fall sport, you do not need to complete again.)

This includes a current physical. Make an appointment soon if you haven't done so already.
