Dear Leander ISD families,

Thank you for your continued support in keeping our schools healthy and safe. We want to take a moment to reassure you that Leander ISD is aware of reported measles cases in Texas. The District is working closely with both local and state health agencies to stay informed and prepared. We are actively monitoring the situation and following guidance from public health officials to help keep our schools safe.

Measles is a highly contagious illness with symptoms such as fever, cough, runny nose and rash. If your child has a fever or rash, please keep them home and consult with a healthcare provider. For more information about measles, please visit the Texas Health and Human Services website.

The health and well-being of our students, staff and families remain our top priority. We appreciate your partnership in maintaining a safe and healthy school environment and will continue to provide updates as needed.
