💙 Parent Entry & Safety Reminders
Valid Photo ID Required: All parents and visitors must present a valid photo ID to enter through the playground gates. NO ID = NO ENTRY.
Bring a Change of Clothes: Please pack an extra set of clothes for your child if they will be staying at school for the remainder of the day.
Backpacks: ALL students will bring their backpacks and belongings outside to the Stampede, whether they plan to stay at school or check out early.
Sibling Stampedes: Students may only participate in their own grade level's Stampede. Students will not be permitted to attend or watch their siblings' Stampede events.
⭐ IMPORTANT: Early Checkout Procedures⭐
🚨 ONCE A STUDENT IS CHECKED OUT, THEY CANNOT RETURN TO CAMPUS FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SCHOOL DAY. 🚨
- This includes returning to watch or participate in a sibling's Stampede.
- Once a student has been checked out, they must leave campus with their parent or guardian and remain off campus for the rest of the school day. No re-entry will be permitted.
- Have more than one Wrangler? We would LOVE for you to cheer on all your children! Families with multiple students are welcome to attend each child's scheduled Stampede and wait until AFTER their final child's event to check out all of their children together.
- Please do not check out your children between Stampede events if you plan to remain on campus for another child's run.
🎟️ Student Checkout & Exit Ticket Process
For the safety of our students, we will use an exit ticket system for all early checkouts.
Visit your child's teacher at the playground following their Stampede to request an early checkout.
Show your photo ID. The teacher will verify that you are listed as an authorized parent, guardian, or emergency contact in Skyward.
Sign the checkout roster. Once your information has been verified, you will sign the teacher's roster.
Receive an exit ticket. Your child's teacher will provide an exit pass.
Gather belongings. Your child will collect their backpack and belongings from the designated area outside.
Exit together. You and your child will proceed to the designated recess gate, where a staff member will collect the exit pass before you leave.
Remember: Once your child exits campus, they may NOT return that day, even for a sibling's event.

Library Book Feedback Window Closes Soon!
In accordance with Senate Bill 13 and Board Policy EF(B), the most recent proposed book purchase lists for both elementary and secondary levels was posted on the District Library Services website on September 23 for a 30-day public review. We wanted to remind you that the window to provide feedback closes on October 25, 2026.
Before any new titles are presented to the LHISD School Board for final approval, they are reviewed by the Student Learning Advisory Committee (SLAC). SLAC includes seven voting members who are parents or guardians of students enrolled in Liberty Hill ISD, along with fewer than seven non-voting members who are district employees. Meeting at least twice each year, the committee works collaboratively with district librarians and staff to review proposed books alongside all community feedback submitted during the 30-day posting period before submitting recommendations to the Board.
Important Timeline & Opportunities for Input:
September 23: Proposed books and the community feedback form were published on the Library Services website.
October 25: Parent and community feedback forms are due.
Week of October 26: Submitted feedback is shared with SLAC members.
Week of November 1: SLAC meets to review titles and community feedback.
November 9: SLAC-recommended books are submitted for the Board agenda.
November 16: School Board meeting for consideration and approval of recommended books.
Please review the list of titles and complete the feedback form on our District Library Services website. Thank you for your continued engagement and support!
