The Gator Gab 2026 - v2 Edition 1🐊

Welcome back Gators,

If you are new to our community or returning Gator, welcome to the Gator Gab. You can expect to receive this newsletter each week by Sunday with information about the upcoming week, reminders, important school and district, and information from PTA as well.

Two days filled with excitement and joy. It was so nice to see all of the smiling faces, hearing the sound of kids laughing, and watching the authentic interaction between families, students and staff. I am looking forward to continue to reconnect with our returning Gators and their families and start building strong relationships with our new Gators and their families.

Have a wonderful week and cheers to an amazing 2026-27 school year!

Please join me in welcoming our newest Gators and old Gators in new roles!

NOTE: TIME CHANGE FOR BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT!

Please join us on Thursday, August 13th for Back to School Night. This is the night for families to come meet their child's teacher, see the classroom, and hear directly from the teacher about the upcoming school year. Teachers will layout their expectations for the school year, what you can expect, and much more!

See you Thursday!

You should have received the Arrival/Dismissal information with your class placement. This is a friendly reminder.

NOTE: Friday, August 14th is the LAST day families can walk their child to class and pickup their child from class. Please thoroughly read and follow the guidelines. This is for the safety of our students, staff, and families.

ParentSquare is the FCUSD and SJGE primary form of communication for families to receive important information. If you have not signed up for ParentSquare please do so ASAP to avoid missing weekly newsletters from your principal and teachers, important school and district information, and emergency alerts.
