Next week all schools will hold Parent-Teacher Conferences. There will be NO school for students on this day.
- Pre-K Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place on Thursday, February 12 from noon-6:00PM followed by no school on Friday, February 13.
- Kindergarten through twelfth grade Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place on Friday, February 13 from 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
In addition, the North Little Rock Board of Education has approved a revised calendar for the remainder of the school year to account for six weather-related closures.
Please note the following updates:
- Thursday, February 12: This day remains Parent-Teacher Conference Day for PreK families from noon to 6:00 p.m. and no school for them. However, this is now a regular school day for K-12 students.
- Friday, February 13: No school for all students, PreK-12th grade. Parent-Teacher Conferences for K-12th grade families will be held on this day from 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
- Friday, March 13: Now a regular school day and the new end date for the 3rd nine-week grading period.
- Friday, May 22: Now a regular school day and the official last day of school (previously a professional development day).

Please share this information with your family and friends who are not a part of the district. School choice allows them to choose where they would like to send their student, even if they live outside of our zone!
School Choice season is here! If you currently do not live in North Little Rock, or if you'd like to experience a different campus than the one you are zoned for, then consider applying for school choice.
We are also offering campus tours. Whether you have a future kindergartener or a rising middle schooler or high schooler, we invite you to walk our halls and meet our dedicated staff.
The upcoming dates are tours are as follows:
- February 19
- March 5
- March 19
- April 2
- April 9
Fifth grade parents, your student will be bringing home information to you about scheduling classes for sixth grade. Please check your email for information about the classes that are available to them. The email also contains a video from Ms. Alicia Bailey, the counselor at the Sixth Grade Campus, who walks you through the scheduling process.
Forms are due back to student's fifth grade teacher by February 20.

The Platform: Students log minutes spent reading at home or at school via the Beanstack app.
The Reward: Top 3 students will receive trophies; top student and school get to slime the superintendent!
The Goal: 200,000 collective minutes spent reading from Jan 21-April 3.
