A Note from the Principal

Dear Jefferson Families,

This is a time of year that reminds us to give thanks for the many wonderful people, experiences, and things we have in our lives. We are so very thankful here at Jefferson to work with such amazing students, supportive parents, and dedicated colleagues. We are also grateful for the time we are able to spend together with students and as a school community.

With these partnerships and gratitude in mind, I want to be sure to thank all those who have attended conferences, connected with teachers and staff, reached out to me with any questions, and participated in events and PCC meetings. We are thankful for your ongoing dialogue and participation!

We wish you all a healthy and restorative holiday weekend ahead!

Best Regards,

Stefani Wasik, Principal

Why is School Attendance So Important? According to the National Center for Education Statistics, Students who attend school regularly have been shown to achieve at higher levels than students who do not have regular attendance. This relationship between attendance and achievement may appear early in a child's school career. Being chronically absent can have a significant impact on a student's academic progress and their ability to access the variety of academic and non-academic supports that schools provide. For ideas and resources to support your child's good attendance, please click the link below!
