Eastside Secondary will host a Regional University Fair on November 14 from 5 - 8 pm.

The Regional Fairs travel across Ontario, offering fair-style events in most Ontario regions.

These fairs allow you to gather information about Ontario’s universities, including programs, campus life and anything else that may help you make a decision about which Ontario university to choose.

All events are free to attend.

Eastside Secondary has partnered with the HPE Learning Foundation to offer a new food sharing program that will provide nutritious food for home for any students and families that need it.

Through this special funding, we are able to offer scheduled pick up opportunities to support students and families.

Our next opportunity for students to access food for home will be Thursday Nov. 9.

We're hosting Hallowe'en themed activies like pumpkin carving and a door decorating contest this week. There will be a dance on Thursday October 26 from 7 - 10 pm and Monday Oct. 30 is Black and Orange Day.

Tuesday October 31st we'll have a costume contest in the Cafeteria at lunch and name to the door decorating contest winner.

We will host our annual IB and Foundations Parents' Night on Thursday November 2nd at 6 pm.

The Foundations and International Baccalaureate Programme provides an enriching educational environment through enhanced courses that stimulate curiosity and inquiry which fosters a spirit of

discovery and an enjoyment of learning. We strive to provide excellent instruction within the classroom and through experiential learning.

Eastside Secondary School has an active School Council that consists of parents, staff, students, and community members. Meetings are held regularly. The team works together as an advisory group to support excellent programming and to foster ongoing school improvement.

If you are interested, please join us at 5:30 on November 13th in the library.

Students are expected to attend school regularly and to be in all classes when they are at school. The most important factor that impacts a student’s grades and success in school is their attendance. EVERY SCHOOL DAY COUNTS!

If students will be away from school, please call to notify the main office (613 962 8668). Please do not call to excuse a student from class to go to the library or other location in the school. Students who are at school, must be in class. If a student has parent permission to be out of class, they must be picked up.
