A Message from Our Principal
Dear Farnham Families,
It was a wonderful week filled with learning, performing arts, and well-deserved recognition at Farnham!
We kicked things off with an engaging Science Assembly featuring Professor Frank Cascarano, a former Farnham parent, who delivered a captivating presentation on Physics. Students left inspired and wide-eyed, proof that science truly is magic! Thank you to our Home & School Club for providing this amazing opportunity!
On Monday evening, our beginning band students took to the stage for a memorable performance under the direction of music teacher, Mr. Sanchez. Their confidence was remarkable, and it was clear that their dedication and hard work paid off. We couldn't be prouder!
Celebrating Our Outstanding Staff: This week, we had the honor of recognizing two exceptional members of our Farnham family. Mrs. Jenna Greco was named Farnham's Teacher of the Year, and the recognition didn't stop there! She was also honored as the Cambrian School District Teacher of the Year. A truly incredible achievement! We also celebrated Mr. Van Phan as Farnham's Classified Staff of the Year. Congratulations to both, your dedication and passion make Farnham the special place it is!
This Friday - Jersey Day! Show your school and team spirit by wearing your favorite sports jersey or rocking Farnham Blue. 🎉
Here's to another fabulous week of Solving Problems, Making Good Decisions, and Showing Respect!
Be well,
Amy O'Hehir
Farnham Principal

Community Flyers and Information
SUN Bucks Summer Grocery Benefits for Families
This summer, some families may receive SUN Bucks, a grocery benefit that helps families buy food for their children when school is not in session. Eligible students may receive $120 per child to help purchase groceries during the summer months. These benefits are provided through the SUN Bucks (Summer EBT) program, administered by the State of California. Many students are automatically eligible, including children in households that receive CalFresh, CalWORKs, or qualifying Medi-Cal, as well as students identified as foster, homeless, or migrant. Students who qualify for free or reduced-price school meals may also be eligible.
If your child is eligible, the SUN Bucks EBT card will be mailed directly to your home address. No action is required for families who already meet the eligibility criteria. If you believe your child may qualify but you have not submitted a Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application or Universal Benefits Application, completing one may help determine eligibility for SUN Bucks and other programs that support students and families. To apply, please visit: https://www.cambriansd.org/departments/food-services
For more information about SUN Bucks, please visit: https://www.cdss.ca.gov/sun-bucks
Families can also contact the SUN Bucks Helpline for assistance: 877-328-9677"
