Buffalo Bulletin!

We have an exciting and busy week ahead at Stanton Elementary! Safety Week, our Halloween Program, Mad Scientist Day, and the final week of the 6 weeks are all happening this week. As we enjoy these special events, we will continue to keep student safety, learning, and success at the heart of everything we do. Safety Week is a great opportunity for our students to learn important safety habits and practice making safe choices at school, at home, and in our community. Looking ahead, Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Monday, November 2. If you would like to meet with your child’s teacher to discuss their progress, please contact your child’s teacher to schedule a conference. We value this opportunity to partner with you and work together to support your child’s success. Go Buffs!

¡Nos espera una semana emocionante y llena de actividades en la Escuela Primaria Stanton! Esta semana tendremos la Semana de la Seguridad, nuestro programa de Halloween, el Día del Científico Loco y la última semana del periodo de seis semanas. Mientras disfrutamos de estos eventos especiales, seguiremos manteniendo la seguridad, el aprendizaje y el éxito de nuestros estudiantes como el eje central de todo lo que hacemos. La Semana de la Seguridad es una excelente oportunidad para que nuestros alumnos aprendan hábitos de seguridad importantes y practiquen cómo tomar decisiones seguras en la escuela, en el hogar y en nuestra comunidad. Por otro lado, les informamos que el lunes 2 de noviembre se llevarán a cabo las conferencias entre padres y maestros. Si desea reunirse con el maestro o maestra de su hijo(a) para hablar sobre su progreso, por favor, póngase en contacto con él o ella para programar una cita. Valoramos mucho esta oportunidad de colaborar con ustedes y trabajar juntos para apoyar el éxito de sus hijos. ¡Vamos, Buffs!

Mad Scientist Day will be held on October 30, 2026. Students will explore science skills. Your child can dress up as a "mad scientist," but please DO NOT wear a Halloween costume of any kind.

Monday & Tuesday, students will be attending the Being Safe Presentations during Music Rotations. Permission forms were included in your registration packet this year-- students without parent permission will attend "Study Hall" instead.
*On the day your student is NOT scheduled in the Music Room, they will be attending PE. PLEASE SEND TENNIS SHOES.
**Paper notes will be sent with students in Mrs. Garza & Mrs. V's class, stating what day they'll be with the presenters.
***If parents chose to attend with their student, they must show a photo ID in the front office.

Attached you will find TTU the monthly Parent newsletter focused on getting back to school. The goal with the newsletter is to provide mental health education, valuable resources, tips, and support to help families.

Adjunto encontrará el boletín mensual de TTU para padres de este año, centrado en el regreso a clases. El objetivo de este boletín es brindar educación sobre salud mental, recursos valiosos, consejos y apoyo para ayudar a las familias.

Starting this month, TTUHS is also hosting a webinar for parents the second Thursday of the month. The series is called Proactive Parenting. Our first one of the year will be next Thursday on October 8th from 12-12:50. The series is designed to help parents understand mental health and have practical strategies and tools to utilize with their children around well-being. Attached are the topics for the upcoming sessions of the series.
