Inspired Poetry Share
Wednesday February 18 6:30PM to 8PM
Registration required
Enjoy an evening of reading and listening to poetry! Bring your own work or poems by others. We come together on a quarterly basis. There is no critiquing, just appreciation. For those of you who do appreciate a theme, here is this session's optional challenge: “The first time I met you”. Consider the first time you met someone or did something new and either create or find poetry on this topic! Sponsored by Belding Memorial Library and Straw Dog Writers Guild. Register by emailing bmlashfield@gmail.com or calling 413-628-4414.
Hilltown Strummers
Wednesdays February 11 and 25 6PM to 7:30PM
Ukulele strum-along for players of all experience levels! Free to all! We’ll be meeting in the Community Room at Belding Memorial Library. A limited number of ukuleles will be available to borrow if you don’t have your own. Email Donna with questions: donnasar24@gmail.com
Zine Club
Last Monday of the month from 6:30PM to 7:30PM
A zine ("zeen") is a handmade & self-published booklet, usually photocopied and traded or sold in small batches. Did you know we’ve started a zine library & art-making station in the teen section? Join us on the last Monday of each month for ZINE CLUB, where we’ll have art games, creative prompts, and supplies for making your own zine!
