Dimond Newsletter
September 10th, 2026
Dear Dimond Families
Last week was a fun one with all of the Homecoming activities. I saw a lot of spirit in our students and lots of participation in the fun extras! I also hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend afterwards. We don’t have control over when our Homecoming weekend is scheduled because it is based off of the Flag and tackle Football schedule done by the district. I know it is inconvenient for families to have it over the holiday weekend, and many sports happen over spring break and Memorial Day weekend as well. Next year it will be a different weekend.
I also want to acknowledge how amazing the shift in culture has been for getting to class on time! Students are managing their time and materials well, and instruction is able to start right away with minimal interruptions. Thank you for your support with this!
Sincerely,
Principal D’Atri
