Pettigrew Fun Run

We’re thrilled for this year’s main fundraiser — R.F. Pettigrew Panther Fun Run! This year, our goal is to raise $50,000 to support updating and maintaining our rock garden in front of the school, new banners for the lunchroom, and supporting student achievement at R.F. Pettigrew Elementary.

Fun Run Date

• Friday, September 25th

Times

• Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grades: 12:30pm-1:30pm
• 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grades: 1:35pm-2:35pm

Location

• Southern Vistas Park (next to the playground.

Visitors

• Yes - we want you to come and watch! You do not need to check into the office and we are not marking laps this year like we have done in the past. Just come and watch!
• There will be a snow cone truck for the students and staff (they do not bring enough for the visitors-sorry).

Students earn rewards for money raised! Its starts with the first donation - students will earn Great Wolf Lodge ears! Then, the more money students earn, the more prizes they will receive.

If we reach out $50,000 goal, families will receive 1 hour of game play at Dave and Busters!

The student in each grade level who raises the most money will receive a Thunder Road and Sky Zone pass!

We will also put all students who support the fun run in a drawing for other prizes including Thunder Road pass, Sky Zone Pass, and a membership to the Washington Pavilion.

We are trying to raise $50,000. If we reach that goal, we are going to have an Inflatable Food Scramble later in October! The classroom from each grade level who raises the most money, will have their teacher compete in the Inflatable Food Scramble in October. They will wear a space themed inflatable suit, and race in front of the whole school! Can you help your teacher get in the race?

All students will receive a new Pettigrew T-shirt for the fun run. We will give to students the day of the run!
