We're excited to have you back, Bearcats!
Snow days aren’t something we see often in Aledo, but when winter weather arrived, our Bearcat community showed nothing but patience, flexibility, and heart.
Thank you to our families and staff for your understanding during this closure and a huge shoutout to our Aledo ISD weather team for working around the clock to ensure safety always comes first. From big Bearcats to little ones, we hope you enjoyed every snowy moment!
It's School Board Recognition Month!
We're recognizing our AMAZING Aledo ISD Board of Trustees - and PROUD public school grads - this month for School Board Recognition Month! Our Trustees are the best in the state and selflessly and proudly volunteer their time to serve our Aledo ISD community! Please help us thank them this month!
David Lear
Take a minute to read a little about how Trustee David Lear's own public school experience shaped his passion for serving students today. Inspired by the wide range of opportunities he had growing up, David is proud to help expand academic, career and extracurricular programs in Aledo ISD.
Board Trustee Jim Scott is from Baird, Texas, and still remembers all that his favorite teachers - Mrs. Diller and Mrs. Odom taught him! Take a moment to read about the impact of public education on Mr. Scott, and please help us thank him for his service!

School Report Cards Available Online
2024 and 2025 School Report Cards (SRC) are now available on the Texas Education Agency's website and are posted on the district's website. Aledo ISD Child Development Center Earns Prestigious Four-Star Certification
Recently, the Texas Workforce Commission affirmed what CDC parents already knew: the CDC is one of the best child care programs in the state.
In just its fourth year, the AISD CDC has been recognized as a Texas Rising Star Four-Star Certified child care program by the Texas Workforce Commission, signifying their commitment to meet a level of quality that exceeds child care regulation standards in Texas. The Four-Star rating is the highest possible rating by the Work Force Commission’s Texas Rising Star program.
The Texas Rising Star program is a quality improvement, rating and certification system for early childhood programs in Texas. The program ensures that child care and early learning programs who participate in TWC’s Child Care Services’ program meet higher quality standards for providing early care and education.

You are cordially invited to this year's Bearcats 'n Boots!
Bearcat's N Boots is the Aledo Education Foundation’s annual spring fundraiser, to raise community support for AISD's immediate teacher and student needs. Last year's event allowed us to give back over $150,000 across our schools. This districtwide initiative brings together the greater Aledo Community in support of the high-quality education we all work so hard to provide for our kids.
Sold out over the past two years, your Bearcats N Boots sponsorship empowers our future by strengthening education & investing in teachers across our 12 schools. Come support the Aledo Education Foundation with a night of dinner, dancing, and endless fun with Aledo parents, grandparents, friends, and longtime AISD supporters.
We cannot achieve this year's goal without our community's continued investment. Sponsorships will be available soon!
