Groovy Gazette

Thank you to everyone that came out to Fall Festival! We had a great turnout and our teachers were able to raise funds for their upcoming activities and events!

Our next big House Rally will be March 8th before Spring Break. We will have other small house competitions between now and then!

Parents, students, and all school personnel play an important role in the educational success and need to be involved in student attendance. We take the responsibility to encourage your child to attend and participate in class by providing meaningful learning experiences. Any missed day reflects a missed learning opportunity. Regular attendance is critical to your child’s success in school.

We are about to enter a season of many fun events such as - house pep rallies, themed days/activities, and holiday parties! We hope that all "ill-free" children are here each day to join in on the fun!

We also have campus initiatives happening that also encourage students to be here such as - spelling "BULLDOGS" to earn a classroom reward, perfect attendance certificates from Texas Roadhouse, and other things to come!

We absolutely love having parents on our campus as much as possible! I have attached our Volunteer Sign up Google Sheet below. There are 3 ways you can regularly volunteer:

• Morning Car Duty Drop-off
• Lunch Help
• Instructional prep/Grade level volunteers

Please add your name to the sheet where you can volunteer! Your child will love seeing you on campus! If you have any questions please reach out to Dr. Bailey at baileym@rcisd.org!

Students will have the opportunity to earn SHINE slips again this year! When they earn them the student will go on a bingo board. When that BINGO has 15 in a row those students will earn a prize and the BINGO board will start over. So - the more SHINE slips you earn the better your chances!

If you would like to donate to our Prize options for BINGO students please use the link below. We have created a wish list of ideas!
