Get ready for our March Reading Challenge! You won't want to miss out on this one!

From March 1st - April 1st students can participate in a fun reading challenge that allows you to log the books, minutes, and pages that you read. You will earn badges and tickets that you can then enter to win various prizes.

Guess the number of Starburst Jelly Beans in the jar! Stop by the library to take your guess or email Mrs. Gee after you look at the picture. The last day to guess will be Friday, March 15th. The winner will be announced Monday, March 18th.

Take part in another group art project. Grab a square from the basket on the table near the circulation desk to color. When you are done, turn it in to Mrs. Gee and pick out a sucker & a sticker!

After all of the tiles are colored an image will be put together. Can you guess what it will be???

From March 1st - 15th students can take part in a duck hunt in the library. While you search for new books to read, keep a lookout for the hidden ducks. If you find one, bring it to Mrs. Gee to pick out a treat. Good Luck, they are very small and can hide almost anywhere!

Watch for the Google Form being sent each week to vote on which book you want to move on. Students and Staff will determine which book is the school’s favorite. Students with the correct winning book will be entered into a drawing to win a prize!!!

Round 3 voting will be Wednesday, February 28th & the Final Round will be Wednesday, March 6th.

Winners will be announced on Monday, March 11th.

Are you a fan of basketball? 🏀 Keep an eye out this month for the official March Madness bracket. Fill it in and drop it off with Mrs. Gee so she can make a copy of your completed bracket by Tuesday, March 19th.

The person with the most points at the end will receive a prize! (one point for every correct team) Good Luck everyone!

If you see any of these students give them a big congratulations as they represented Omro Middle School and Omro High School in the Final State Battle of the Books test the last week of February! Results of how they placed compared to other schools from across the state will be released in early March. Way to Go!!!
