RES Sunday Message

What a fantastic Fall Festival! Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday, and a special shoutout to our amazing PTA and community members for giving their time, energy, and resources to make the day such a success.

Art at Randolph

Did you know. . . At the beginning of the year, Mrs. Ware explains to all of her classes that their artworks will be kept safely in the art room the entire year. But, why? Take a look around. Have you seen the amazing student artworks on display? Mrs. Ware loves to pull out from the stack of completed artworks to hang in displays. Students can learn so much from each other, including what a completed artwork can look like. Many works are held up in front of the class as examples to imitate and inspire. And we cannot forget about the BIG ART EVENT of the year, the Fine Arts Festival. All Art Smart students understand that their artworks will be returned to them at one time. Bags or "portfolios" of art go home in a bag starting in May. Students will learn about these "portfolios" and how to carry their artwork safely all the way home.

The Winter Holiday Performance will be on Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 6:00 pm at Goochland High School. Please see the attached information below from Ms. O regarding performance details.

We are thrilled to share that the smaller playground near the kickball field is ready for student-use! Thank you to our PTA for supporting this project which included: clearing out trees and leaves, power washing the equipment, and getting new mulch put down. Be sure to stop by and check it out next time you're at Randolph!

School Picture Information

Do you still need to order pictures? Our NEW Code Lookup Tool is now available. They can simply scan the QR code and follow the directions to access their child's picture ordering gallery. No need to contact Customer Service for an access code! *Student last name and Student ID number will be required for data security.*
