3rd Grade Field Trip - BSO Young Persons Concert at UMaine - Monday, May 11 at 10:00 am

3rd Grade Maine Through Year Assessments - Tuesday, May 12 & Thursday, May 14 (3rd grade students only)

2nd Grade Field Trip - Roger's Farm at UMaine - Tuesday, May 12 8:30 - 11:30 (rain date 5/20/26)

Early Release Day - Wednesday, May 13 - Students Dismissed at 12:00 pm

1st Grade Field Trip - Bangor Public Library - Wednesday, May 27 9:15 - 11:15

3rd Grade All City Concert Dress Rehearsal at Peakes Auditorium- Thursday, May 28 - Bus leaves at 9:15 and will return students at 11:30 am.

3rd Grade All City Concert - Thursday, May 28th at Peakes Auditorium (BHS) at 5:30 pm (3rd grade students only)

It allows me to make sure Vine Street feels safe and welcoming. Please let me know if you have any thoughts, feelings, or questions around any of the questions in this survey.

3rd Grade students will be taking the Maine Through Year State Assessment for the final time this year on:

• Tuesday, May 12 and Thursday, May 14

Please mark these dates on your calendar! Please try not to schedule any appointments for your child on those days and have your child arrive to school on time and well rested! Thank you for your support!

We are having our next PBIS School-Wide Celebration on Thursday. For those students who have shown great Respect, Reponsible, and Safe behaviors, they will be joining us at JFDS for Junior Bulldog Day! We will be walking down the hill to the Doughty School from 12:50-2:10 to participate in some fun and games with the students and staff at JFDS! We encourage all students to wear Blue and White (Doughty school colors)!

Unfortunately, we did not hit our 95% attendance goal once again this week. However, PreK hit their individual goal with 100% attendance this week! PreK's attendance bee was able to climb closer to their flower. Only two more weeks of 95% attendance for PreK and they will earn their class prize!! Please help us try to continue to meet our goal by making daily attendance a priority next week!

Weekly Attendance:

PreK - 100% WOOHOO!!

Kindergarten - 92.68%

First Grade - 93.78%

Second Grade - 88.50%

Third Grade - 93.06%

School Wide - 92.85%

Congratulations PreK for meeting your 95% attendance goal!! Your bee moved up another notch closer to your flower!! 🐝🌼🎉
