LMHS Updates

Congratulations to our graduates in the Class of 2024! Fifty-seven students graduated last Saturday at Tanglewood. If you missed the ceremony, you can watch it on CTSB at this link. Graduates who received scholarships on Class Night will receive letters by the end of June with information on how to claim their scholarship funds.

We wish the Class of 2024 the best as they move on to the next phase of their lives!

The school year ends on a half day, on Tuesday, June 11. This is a credit/course recovery day, where only those students who have been told by a teacher that they have work to complete must attend. All, of course, are welcome!

On Monday, June 10 at 9:30am in the auditorium, the 8th grade Bridging Ceremony will take place. Family and friends of 8th graders are welcome to attend! This ceremony also doubles as the middle school awards ceremony.

We wish everyone a great summer! The office is open most days this summer, other than Juneteenth (June 19) and July 4. Summer office hours begin on Monday, June 17; the office will be open from 8:00am - 2:00pm starting then through August 12.

LMHS Summer School will be held from Monday, June 24 through Friday, July 19. Students who need to make up classes should sign up ahead of time. More information, and the registration form, can be found on the LMHS web site under "Quick Links."

The GSA would like to thank the school community for its participation in our many events and fundraisers this year. With your support, we were able to make a $400 donation to local non-profit organizations that support LGBTQ+ rights. Happy Pride Month- Join us for the Berkshire Pride Parade and Festival in downtown Pittsfield on Saturday June 8 at 11 am!

As a reminder, the 2024-2025 calendar is available on the web site, and is attached below. School begins for students on Monday, August 26th! Stay tuned this summer for information about the start of the new year...
