Dear Parents and Community Members,
Happy Thursday! I don’t know about you, but I think students are excited about the three day weekend. They have worked really hard this first quarter of school, so they deserve some extra down time.
Next Friday Wagner Photography will be here to do picture retakes and senior formals. If you have a student who was not here for picture day at the beginning of the year, or you have a student who needs to retake their picture this is the opportunity for them to have this taken care of. Wagner will bring the drape and tux for senior students to wear. Seniors will also be getting pictures taken in their cap and gown, which Wagner will also provide. Girls will be in a white gown and boys will be in red. Seniors will have four pictures taken: two with the drape or tux and 2 in their cap and gown.
Next week is Red Ribbon week, and we will be celebrating with a spirit week! Here are the dress up days.
Monday: pajama day (Must be school-appropriate pajamas)
Tuesday- Twin Day (Find a friend and dress alike!)
Wednesday- Favorite Sports Day (sports jerseys, sports hats)
Thursday- Beach Day (Must be school-appropriate attire)
Friday- Red and White Day (Show your Lion pride!)
There will be a parent meeting on Thursday, November 2 at 3:30pm in the cafeteria for students who are interested in archery. This is open for any student in grades 4-12. If you have any questions please reach out to Ms. Davis or Mr. Saylor.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out. My door is always open and I am always willing to help however I can. Have a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely,
Kyla Kirtley
