Dear Pirate Families,
As I reflect on this week, I am grateful to all of our students who have been diligent about following our safety procedures. I also appreciate the support of our district safety personnel and law enforcement who responded quickly to the social media post that was being circulated.
We are aware of the widespread issue of parents not receiving notifications of school communication. While this issue was not within our control and is related to the transition to Infinite Campus, the district has been actively working, student by student, to make sure these issues are resolved. We are hopeful that all issues will be fixed in the next few days. Please know that our goal is always to communicate clearly, widely, and often.
This week's "News from the Pirate Ship" is full of great information, including an exciting announcement about our upcoming college nights on Monday, 9/23 and Tuesday, 9/24.
Don't forget that student announcements, "The Daily Pirate Post" are also shared daily on our website and social media, Bookmark this site for easy access. https://bit.ly/4g7DfFD.
Enjoy your weekend, and we will see you on Monday, Pirates!
