SRS Monthly Update

SRS Families,

As we welcome October, I want to take a moment to thank you for a wonderful start to the school year. It’s been such a joy to have your children back in the building—seeing their energy, enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn has truly made this first month special. We’ve loved watching our students settle back into the routines and procedures that create a safe, supportive, and productive learning environment. Their resilience and positivity have been inspiring, and it’s clear that we’re off to a strong start together.

You’ll be receiving one newsletter from us each month to help keep you informed and connected to what’s happening at school. Our September newsletter was sent out a bit later than planned, which is why this October edition may feel like it’s arriving quickly. Going forward, we’ll aim to have these updates sent at the beginning of each month.

October 8th- Mad Science Spooktacular @ SRS (Title I Event)- 6:30-7:30pm

October 13th- No School

October 15th- Grade 1 to Fletcher Farm

October 22nd- 1/2 Day- Parent Teacher Conferences

October 25th- Trunk or Treat @ SRS

October 29th- Title I Family Information Night @ WMS

**Please make sure your students check the lost and found! We are already starting to fill up!

** Canned goods/donations for the community closet are always welcome!
