Clearwater Elementary STEAM is excited to host our first annual Hispanic Heritage Fashion Show on Tuesday, September 16, 2025! Students are encouraged to dress in traditional clothing representing a variety of Hispanic countries and proudly showcase their culture on the runway. This event is a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together and celebrate the rich diversity and heritage that our Perris Community special.

Thank you to all the parents who joined us for our first Dive into STEAM of the year! This event encourages parent participation in our classrooms and gives families the chance to experience STEAM activities alongside their students. By engaging in these hands-on learning opportunities, parents gain valuable insight into our STEAM instructional program, one of the many things that makes Clearwater shine as a STEAM school.

SEL explicit instruction at Clearwater focuses on developing students’ personal awareness through direct lessons that teach them to identify and manage their emotions, set goals, and reflect on their growth. Our implementation of the Sown to Grow platform supports this work by providing students with a safe space to journal about their well-being on a regular basis. Teachers review these reflections, respond to students, and use the insights to build stronger relationships and a more connected classroom community.

Become a Parent Volunteer This Year

We love having our Clearwater parents involved, and there are many opportunities to make a difference! If you’d like to volunteer in your child’s classroom or join us on field trips this year, please begin the clearance process early by completing the district’s Volunteer Application. Starting now will ensure everything is ready when opportunities arise.

Volunteer Levels

• Level 1 – Volunteer on campus only (requires a TB test).

• Level 2 – Volunteer on campus and chaperone field trips (requires a TB test and Live Scan/fingerprinting).

Important: Human Resources must fully approve the application before you can volunteer, so don’t wait until right before a field trip to start the process!
