Hi,

Looking forward to field day!

For field day, please put sunscreen on your child if want them to wear it. We cannot put sunscreen on students. Also, make sure your student has comfy clothes and a water bottle. They may want to bring a change of clothes in case they get wet at the water based activities!

If you are attending with your student and not volunteering to work a station or support students besides your own, you can just meet us at the park with no need to sign in. If you are volunteering, have been cleared, and working with students that are not your own children, please come and sign in and get a sticker before heading over to the park!

We are excited as it always such a fun day!

Warmly,

Liz McFarland (she/her)

Principal

PTA Meeting - June 10

Our last PTA meeting of the year is at the Playground at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10

Bring the kids and join us for pizza, ice cream and fence fish painting! (There is a suggested sliding-scale donation to cover the materials for the fish, but all the kids are welcome to paint a fish). If you have an unpainted fence fish kit swimming around your house, you can also bring it and paint with us!

We do have a few important things we need to vote on, so please come so we can make sure we can actually operate our PTA next year!

Kudos for Ms. Merlin!

As you may have heard, our very own 2nd grade teacher Lisa Merlin has been named the Teacher of the Year for the Puget Sound region! If you’d like to offer her a congratulations, or share a story of how she’s made a difference your kid’s life please add to our Kudos Board! Please share this with alumni you know as well - we’re trying to get the message out far and wide! The last day to add something is June 16.

Sign up to Volunteer for Field Day!

Field day is Friday June 12 and we need a LOT of volunteers to make it work! Find a fun activity to help with.
