Metro Bus Services

Metro bus service is provided free of charge for students in grades 7–12 using a CPS Smart Card bus pass on regularly scheduled routes. Students who are currently scheduled for bus service will receive their cards during lunch on August 19. If your student does not receive a card, please visit the district’s transportation webpage or call (513) 636-RIDE for information about obtaining a bus pass. Please note that free “One Ride” passes are not currently available. As families make plans for the first few weeks of school, we recommend that students who need to use Metro have bus fare available as a backup. New bus cards can take up to 14 days to arrive.

Parents may download or get a Metro Parent Ride card from the office to ride the bus with your student for free during the first 8 days of school.

Schedule Update

To ensure smaller class sizes, student schedules may have changed from the last time you viewed it. Students will receive a hard copy of their schedule upon arrival on August 19th. You may also check Focus to view the latest schedule.
