Week 3 Updates
KESD Summer Camp 2026
July 13 - 17, 2026
There is so much to review from Week 3 of camp! Students played baseball/softball, completed STEM challenges, read furiously to complete their Summer Reading Challenges from the Cobleigh Library, performed a Rock Band concert, created three dimensional art, practiced math fluency and so much more!
Our overnight trip for middle schoolers last week was to the Appalachian Mountain Club's Mountain Classroom program. Students on this trip hiked in to Carter Notch Hut and spent three nights/four days in the White Mountain National Forest learning about forest ecology and teambuilding!
Another important camp community partner to highlight is Vermont Humanities. Three KESD teachers are hosting a Humanities Camp (sponsored by Vermont Humanities) within Summer Camp! Every day a new elementary group spends the day in Humanities Camp where the teachers engage them in read alouds and activities that develop reading skills and a love of literature.
We so appreciate all of our Summer Camp community partners, teachers, support staff, and all of our students for trying new things at camp. We love to see students growing in social and academic skills - while building new hobbies. We can't wait for Week 4 to begin!
Please make sure you wait until after 2:45pm to drive around to parent pickup (students are still playing on the playground out back then and cars should not drive through).
All cars must stop for buses when loading (lights flashing/stop signs)

A traffic pattern map is attached below.
Caregivers may only pick up and drop off at the locations designated on the map.
