Z Car Club of Colorado
March 2026 Odometer
NATE’Z NOTEZ
Hello Z family, and welcome to March.
This is the time of year when I don’t have much to write about. I’m sure by now, most, if not all, of you have received the letter we sent out with a few ZCCC brochures enclosed. The purpose of the letter is to hopefully attract new members to our club. We hope you will pass out the brochures you received (with your name written on them). When the person you give it to joins, YOUR NEXT YEAR'S MEMBERSHIP IS FREE!
This edition of Natez Notez is being written on a full stomach, having just returned home after a wonderful brunch get-together at the Bacon Social House in Littleton, hosted by Wendy Rhyne.
The turnout was great with 18 members in attendance. You can read more about it below. It was a lot of food and a lot of fun. Thanks, Wendy.
The only event we have for March is our general meeting on Zoom on March 4th at 7:00 P.M. This, by the way, is our last Zoom meeting before we start meeting in person once again, so start thinking about wearing pants because we will start seeing the lower half of your body starting in April.
Our first in-person meeting will be at the Smoky Hill Library in Aurora. Starting in May-September, we will meet at Empire Lakewood Nissan in one of the conference rooms upstairs. A big thanks to Chris Lenckosz (owner) for setting this up for us. I believe this is a win-win for both our club and the dealership. They have supported us for 4 years now, and this is an opportunity for us to support them as well. If you need any work or services for your Z (or your daily driver), you can now schedule it for the first Wednesday of the month and take care of two things in one day.
As I look out my office window, I see lots of blue skies, and I am getting eager to take Baby off the battery tender and drive topless once again. I am so looking forward to all the events you guys are planning this spring, summer, and fall.
Until next month….. ”Keep the rubber side down, and the shiny side up”.
Regardz,
Nate

IN PERSON GENERAL MEETINGS
Members asked for fewer Zoom meetings and more in-person meetings, and your ZCCC Board agrees.
Our in-person meetings will now be held from April to September, culminating with the annual banquet in October.
Our first in-person meeting will be held on April 1, 2026, beginning at 7:00 pm at the Smoky Hill Library, and pizza will be served. Please see details on our website or in the Odometer.
The remainder of our in-person meetings will be held at our sponsor, Empire Lakewood Nissan, in their conference room on the second floor. The first meeting will be held on May 6, 2026. We will begin our meeting at 6:30 pm and adjourn prior to 8:00 pm. Please see details on our website or in the Odometer.
We hope we see a great turnout for our in-person meetings. This is how you can make a difference in the future of our club.
