Two Important Things

Each year our wonderful PTSA provides a Grade Level Portrait of a Titan T-shirt for every student in Kindergarten- 4th Grade. They also provide one for each staff member.

These T-shirts are specific for each grade level as they match their grade level color and a specific Portrait of a Titan Competency. The colors are important as they support our school community in devleoping a true Grade Level Family and BPE Family. The competencies are important because all 6 competencies create what a Titan is. Our students will see, hear and develop within these competencies from now until they graduate from Berea High School.

Each month we celebrate and develop one competency. Your child will have an opportunity to demonstrate skills connected to these competencies in all areas of the school and possibly earn a Portriat of a Titan button to wear on one day or multiple days. They also have the opportunity to be recognized each month for the Monthly Competency Focus. We celebrate these accomplishments each month at our Town Hall meetings.

We are excited to have Hola Hello coming to BPE to host an After School Spanish Club for the 2026/2027 School Year.

This program introduces students to Spanish through fun, interactive activities that promote natural language learning and build confidence in speaking.

Where: Brook Park Elementary School

Time: Immediately after school - students will be dismissed right from their classroom to Spanish Club

Day of the Week: Thursday after school for 1 hour

When does it start? Starts the 2nd week of September

When does it end? It will end after completion of the 30 classes

* They follow the official school calendar

Requirements and Policies:

• Minimum: 10 students required to open the club
• Registration Deadline: Monday, September 14
• The program includes 30 classes, divided in 3 installments
• If a studnet withdraws during the 1st sesson, they are not required to pay for the 2nd or 3rd installments. Each installment only becomes due when the next session begins.
• If school is canceled, the Spanish classes will also be canceled. A make- up day will be scheduled
• Parent must follow the School safety and pick - up procedures

COST:

Total Cost per student is $400.00

Paid in 3 installments

• 1st payment before starting the class- $134.00
• 2nd payment week of November 16- $133.00
• 3rd payment week of February 8- $133.00

30 Classes Total= $400.00
