Pursuing the Joy of Salvation, Knowledge, Leadership, and Community Pursuing the Joy of Salvation, Knowledge, Leadership, and Community

Happy New Year! Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! I trust that you all had a joyful and restful Christmas break, filled with love, peace, and precious moments with family and friends. As we begin this new year, I want to extend a heartfelt welcome back to each of you. It’s a blessing to have our school community reunited and ready to embark on another exciting semester of learning and growth.

Looking back, we can all be proud of the many accomplishments of the first semester. Our students have shown remarkable progress in their studies, and we’ve witnessed growth in their character, faith, and friendships. We are grateful for the support of our families, and we truly appreciate the partnership we share in nurturing and guiding these young minds.

As we step into the second semester, we are filled with anticipation for all the great things God has in store for us. While the weather outside may be cold, the warmth and energy of our school community continue to thrive. There are many opportunities ahead for our students to discover, explore, and deepen their understanding of the world around them—both academically and spiritually. Together, we will continue to foster a love of learning, cultivate kindness, and encourage one another in our journey of faith.

May this new semester be filled with blessings, growth, and joy. Let us keep in mind the words from Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” With His help, we know that this will be a semester full of exciting new opportunities and achievements.

We are grateful for each and every one of you, and we look forward to an amazing start to the year!

Inclement Weather Plans Inclement Weather Plans

As we anticipate the possibility of inclement weather on Thursday and Friday, we want to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and staff. The KAES administration will closely monitor weather conditions and make decisions regarding school closures or delays as needed.

In the event of a school closure or delay, a Parent Alert will be sent by 7:00 AM, followed by a confirmation email. Please be sure to check these communications for up-to-date information.

We recognize that many of our families travel from various areas across the DFW region. While the weather may be clear near the school, conditions in your area may still be unsafe for travel. If you find that road conditions near your home are hazardous, please do not attempt to travel. Stay home until conditions improve, and simply notify the school about your situation.

Your safety is our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we navigate these potential weather challenges together.

Update: KAES improvement project for the security wall and entrance. Update: KAES improvement project for the security wall and entrance.

We are excited to move forward with plans to construct front security walls between our buildings. This addition will enhance student safety by providing coverage for movement between buildings, create a clear and welcoming entrance to the school, and enable us to secure the entire campus. The total cost of the project is $150,000, and with the help from the Keene Church we are thrilled to report that we have raised $132,646 toward this goal. We hope to begin work on this project as soon as the school year closes if not before.
