2026 Summer Dance Concert
Dress rehearsals will take place at the Westlake Performing Arts Center in place of regular classes the week of the concert.
Dancers must arrive in full costume, hair, and makeup
Only one parent/guardian may attend dress rehearsal
Wristbands will be distributed at rehearsal — do not put them on until performance day
We will run the finale first, allowing families to leave once their dancer has performed
Please note, there are no Rec Dance classes June 13th - June 19th.

🎫 Tickets go on sale Monday May 11th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. 🎫
Tickets will be sold online with tiered pricing ranging from $20 to $25 or at the door the day of the event for $30
Every audience member, regardless of age, must have a ticket per venue policy
Do not purchase a ticket for your dancer — all dancers remain backstage for the entire performance
The Westlake Performing Arts Center is fully handicap accessible
Tickets are first-come, first-served

Each show features a mix of ages and levels and promises to be a fun, high-energy performance for all audiences.
Backstage & Safety Policies
Dancers performing in multiple shows must be picked up after each show and dropped off 30 minutes before their next performance.
ATB cannot be responsible for dancers between shows.
No parents, grandparents, or guests are permitted backstage unless assisting with costume changes.
Adult supervision will be present in all dressing rooms.
For safety purposes, all dancers must remain backstage until the entire show is complete.
You may not enter the dressing room to pick up your dancer without their wristband
2026 Concert Participation Fee:
1 Dance- $110
2 Dances- $195
Participation in a professionally run production
Stage management, lighting, and video
Music licensing
A high-quality costume, tights, and accessories (if applicable)
A participation medal
The fee will be added to your account by March 5, 2026, and the card on file will be charged on March 6, 2026.
Costumes will be tried on and distributed during your dancer’s regularly scheduled class the week of April 26.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to assist with costume fitting.

Important Notes:
Label all costume pieces, shoes, and accessories with your dancer’s name
Costumes should not be worn outside of pictures, dress rehearsal, or performances
- Costumes will not be distributed to accounts not in good standing — no exceptions
Wristbands will be distributed at dress rehearsal and are required for:
Entry into dress rehearsal
Picking up your dancer after their performance
This system helps ensure the safe and organized dismissal of all performers.
- Videotaping and flash photography are not permitted during performances
- All shows will be professionally recorded
- Families will receive access to a complimentary concert video link following the event
All ATB Dance Concert Music will be available for your child through the Parent Portal in the class resource section by March 16th. To access your child’s class music, go to abovethebarre.com on your device, log in to your Customer Portal, and click on your dancer’s class to find their music in the Resource tab.
Awards and photo recognition in our program are given to students who have been enrolled continuously at Above The Barre for 5, 10, or 15 years! If your dancer is eligible for this award, please be sure to complete the ATB 5, 10, & 15-Year Form, linked below, to ensure your dancer is properly recognized at our concerts.
You will be receiving an email in April to confirm the spelling of your dancer’s name for our program and souvenir t-shirt. Please make sure you reply if there are any discrepancies.
Your dancer’s current schedule will continue through the end of the summer session. Continued training is highly encouraged to maintain technique and progress.
Dancers can begin training in their teacher-recommended class starting June 24th, 2026
Classes for the 2026–2027 season will begin August 24, 2026.
Families enrolled through the summer will receive priority enrollment and automatic placement based on teacher recommendations.
