Deer Run Families,
We are so grateful for your amazing support of the Deer Run Run! Thanks to your generosity and enthusiasm, our PTO fundraiser raised over $44,000 for our school. Your participation helps us continue to provide meaningful experiences and opportunities for our students—thank you for being such an important part of our success!
This week, our students also had the opportunity to participate in engaging lessons with Jared the Nature Guy, learning about our school garden and exploring the outdoor classroom.
We are looking forward to welcoming families next week for our first day of parent-teacher conferences.
Thank you again for your continued partnership and support. Together, we are making Deer Run an incredible place for students to learn, grow, and thrive!
Enjoy the weekend!

Dismissal Changes
In the event of an emergency and the need to change a student's dismissal method be sure to send an email to the classroom teacher AND the attendance email (Dres_attendance@dublinschools.net). Teachers are extremely busy during the school day, therefore, it is not guaranteed that the teacher would have time to review the parent email prior to dismissal. Be sure to submit changes as early as possible to increase the likelihood that the communication will be received by our school team prior to dismissal.
Student Car Drop Off and Pick Up
As a reminder, car drop off and pick up for all students should take place at the back door of the school. Last school year, students were being dropped off at Grizzell, in the school parking lot, and in the neighborhood adjacent to the school. We want to ensure that all of our students are safely dropped off at school, therefore only the backdoor area should be used. Also, we also want to be considerate of our neighbors that live in the homes adjacent to the school. Therefore, adhering to this guidelines is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
School Lunch
Information regarding school lunch can be found on the DCS website here.
Please note for Wednesday, October 8 there is has been a change to the lunch menu. Lunch will consist of beef hotdogs instead of corndogs. Thank you!
