Fall Fundraiser

Our annual Fall Fundraiser kick-off is on October 20th. This past week we got most students set up in the app so they are ready for our representative when we return from break.

IN THE MEANTIME, we need YOUR help getting contacts for students to reach out to soliciting donations. Please work to load at least 20 adult contacts that students can reach out to to help with the fundraiser success. This is our main fundraiser and allows the booster club to offset our budget while also supporting students. Many of our booster sponsored events and assistance would not be possible without a successful fundraiser such as:

  1. Choral festival entry fees
  2. Field trip expenses
  3. All-State Camp Scholarships
  4. Private Lesson Assistance
  5. Pop Show costuming/staging/etc

Those are just a few of the MANY things that our Booster Club uses the funds for to support our amazing choir students. If you have any questions regarding fundraiser set-up or limitations, please don't hesitate to reach out to Mr. Miner.

Kemah Choir Festival Volunteers

On Thursday, November 5, our Non-Varsity Choirs will be competing in the Kemah Choir Festival. Our busses will leave at roughly 11:30 am, and return at roughly 8:00 pm We need LOTS of parent help in order to make this trip a success and help chaperone. The event is free for parents to attend and help. If you are available and interested in chaperoning, please email Mr. Miner to express your interest. THANK YOU to those parents who signed up at our Fall Concert! I will be reaching out to you soon with details.

  • I am currently working on building our caroling schedule for this year. Once the schedule is released, please be sure to communicate any conflicts AHEAD of time in order to ensure accurate grading. Thank you!

AAC Level-Down Forms

If your child is currently in the Choir AAC course and would like to level down, applications are now available from the counselor's office. Please have your child stop by to retrieve the packet and gather the requested signatures ASAP so that the counseling department can begin processing them. Weekly AAC recordings will soon begin on All State Music so we want to ensure the course code gets switched as soon as possible.

Presto Assistant

Thank you so everyone so far who has logged in to Presto to sign forms and pay fees. As a reminder, all fees and most forms this year will be done via the Presto Assistant website. To access the website, please CLICK HERE. A few points below:

  • If you are NEW to the THS Choir Program: You should have received several emails from Presto Assistant inviting you to finishing setting up your profile. I have already created a profile for every student and the first parent listed in Skyward. The email listed in Skyward is the email that should have received the Presto email. Please follow the directions to complete your profile set up in order to pay fees and sign required forms.
  • If you are a returning parent who does not remember your Presto login, please follow the directions on the website to reset your password to access your account.
  • If you have multiple students and both students do not appear in your parent account, please let me know so that I can ensure they are linked correctly.
  • Presto Assistant does not allow student profiles to pay choir fees or sign forms so please ensure you are able to access your account.

I appreciate those of you who have reached out with your issues as I am working closely with the Presto team to solve individual issues and inform them on how to better streamline the platform for parents.
