Horticulture Class Update

"This past week, was our first "Salad Friday" in horticulture class this year. The students started all the fresh ingredients from seed and have been learning how to plant, nurture, harvest, and process plants grown for food. Our freshly harvested ingredients included 3 kinds of lettuce, arugula, basil, mustard greens, radish sprouts, cherry tomatoes, and green onions. Even Mrs. Cruse got to join in the salad fun, as Art and Horticulture both get to share the Agriscience Center classroom space!"
